Ain't Had No Schoolin'!

I'm so excited! I'm about to start going to school (short term) in Greenville for Patient Care Technician training! :3 It will be long hours at school but it will be so worth it. I'm saying this because I won't be blogging as much or as often for a while, but I plan to be on at least once every two weeks, (maybe more because blogging is ADDICTING). What do PCT's do you ask? Basically they do EVERYTHING a CNA does, but they also give medications and can take blood. So along with the CNA certificate I will also be phlebot certified as well as med tech certified. I really hope to finish this course in Greenville quickly so I can work in either Clemson or Seneca. I have decided on attending CLEMSON for my junior and senior years because the university is closer to my house and more convenient for me. Wish me well!

Duck Hunting for Poets

My current favorite poem of all time. You might know it'd be about duck hunting!!! LOVE THIS!

THE MANLET

by: Lewis Carroll (1832-1898)

      N stature the Manlet was dwarfish--
      No burly, big Blunderbore he;
      And he wearily gazed on the crawfish
      His Wifelet had dressed for his tea.
      "Now reach me, sweet Atom, my gunlet,
      And hurl the old shoelet for luck;
      Let me hie to the bank of the runlet,
      And shoot thee a Duck!"
      She has reached him his minikin gunlet;
      She has hurled the old shoelet for luck;
      She is busily baking a bunlet,
      To welcome him home with his Duck.
      On he speeds, never wasting a wordlet,
      Though thoughtlets cling, closely as wax,
      To the spot where the beautiful birdlet
      So quietly quacks.
      Where the Lobsterlet lurks, and the Crablet
      So slowly and sleepily crawls;
      Where the Dolphin's at home, and the Dablet
      Pays long, ceremonious calls;
      Where the Grublet is sought by the Froglet;
      Where the Frog is pursued by the Duck;
      Where the Ducklet is chased by the Doglet--
      So runs the world's luck!
      He has loaded with bullet and powder;
      His footfall is noiseless as air;
      But the Voices grow louder and louder,
      And bellow and bluster and blare.
      They bristle before him and after,
      They flutter above and below,
      Shrill shriekings of lubberly laughter,
      Weird wailings of woe!
      They echo without him, within him;
      They thrill through his whiskers and beard;
      Like a teetotum seeming to spin him,
      With sneers never hitherto sneered.
      "Avengement," they cry, "on our Foelet!
      Let the Manikin weep for our wrongs!
      Let us drench him, from toplet to toelet,
      With Nursery Songs!
      "He shall muse upon 'Hey! Diddle! Diddle!'
      On the Cow that surmounted the Moon;
      He shall rave of the Cat and the Fiddle,
      And the Dish that eloped with the Spoon;
      And his soul shall be sad for the Spider,
      When Miss Muffet was sipping her whey,
      That so tenderly sat down beside her,
      And scared her away!
      "The music of Midsummer madness
      Shall sting him with many a bite,
      Till, in rapture of rollicking sadness,
      He shall groan with a gloomy delight;
      He shall swathe him, like mists of the morning,
      In platitudes luscious and limp,
      Such as deck, with a deathless adorning,
      The Song of the Shrimp!
      "When the Ducklet's dark doom is decided,
      We will trundle him home in a trice;
      And the banquet, so plainly provided,
      Shall round into rose-buds and rice;
      In a blaze of pragmatic invention
      He shall wrestle with Fate, and shall reign;
      But he has not a friend fit to mention,
      So hit him again!"
      He has shot it, the delicate darling!
      And the Voices have ceased from their strife;
      Not a whisper of sneering or snarling,
      As he carries it home to his wife;
      Then, cheerily champing the bunlet
      His spouse was so skilful to bake,
      He hies him once more to the runlet
      To fetch her the Drake!

Hey Jealousy:)

Okay you guys..I'm jealous. My cousin has an awesomely fantastic blog because her hubby designed it especially for her (lucky woman)..complete with uploaded videos and a cooking page...AND a fish tank. I'm too concerned with sharp lines and modern colors to have all that. I'm going to see if he can help me out anyway..Maybe  I can get a cooking page and have it work the right way? I digress.

The grammys? I didn't watch them. I heard Frank Ocean won something, so cheers to a good love song by Frank Ocean.

Frank Ocean: Thinkin 'bout You

A tornado flew around my room before you came
Excuse the mess it made, it usually doesn't rain
In Southern California, much like Arizona
My eyes don't shed tears, but, boy, they bawl
When I'm thinkin' 'bout you (ooh, no, no, no)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you (you know, know, know)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you
Do you think about me still?
Do ya, do ya?
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)
No, I don't like you, I just thought you were cool
Enough to kick it
Got a beach house I could sell you in Idaho
Since you think I don't love you, I just thought you were cute
That's why I kissed you
Got a fighter jet, I don't get to fly it, though
I'm lyin' down thinkin' 'bout you (ooh, no, no, no)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you (you know, know, know)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you
Do you think about me still?
Do ya, do ya?
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)
Yes, of course
I remember, how could I forget (how could I forget)?
How you feel (how you feel)?
You know you were my first time (time).
A new feel (a new feel)
It won't ever get old, not in my soul,
Not in my spirit, keep it alive (spirit, keep it alive)
We'll go down this road
'Til it turns from color to black and white
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)
Or do you not think so far ahead (ahead)?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)

Was it grammy worthy? I have to say I've listened to the song and it is catchy, but grammy worthy? Tell me what you think:) Let's do what we do best, judge! Don't hold back!

Paint it black, black as night.

I've been thinking(dangerous I know) and I want a pure black cat. I don't want an Oreo, or Calico, or orange and black, but just black...Completely black. I'm not a huge cat fan, but I think I could manage with just ONE black cat. Two cats are too many, makes the house stink no matter how much you empty out the litter box.

Aren't they adorable?

Trying Something New

So! I've just recently watched a Dr. Oz video on Raspberry Ketones. I'm seriously considering trying them out. The guidelines as to buying GOOD QUALITY Raspberry Ketones are as follows:
1. Nothing Cheap. Look to pay around $40-$50 per bottle.
2. No Other Extracts. Some Raspberry Ketone items are SYNTHETIC, containing little to no REAL Raspberry Ketones, instead Acai berry and Green Tea extracts, and they do not work as well as advertised..
3. Look for mg. size. If it is lower that 500, I don't advise buying it.
4. And of course, 60 tablets per bottle.
One of the main things to remember when making your purchase  is buying "PURE RASPBERRY KETONES". Many companies are in a hurry to sell them since Dr. Oz endorsed the phenom in a bottle. The pharmaceutical reps are itching to make money on it, no matter how poorly their product was created in the lab.

All Dogs goto Heaven

pinterest.com/love4laughter  is my Pinterest! Follow Me:)

Now, I have yet to bathe my doggy with this recipe, but I am going to try it once the weather gets warmer. :) Chihuahuas are hypersensitive to cold weather, I'm sure wet coats (even if I blow dry them down) don't feel great in the cold weather. So, in searching for homemade doggy flea shampoo, I found TWO recipes that I'm willing to try. One is a scrub, one is an all natural shampoo :) I love my Diva Baby Wooky, (Diva) and I don't want any super harsh chemicals going onto her coat.
                                                                  Diva

Flea Scrub

1/2 Cup Dawn dish detergent (blue)

1/2 Cup iodized Salt

1/4 Cup Epsom Salt.

Mix detergent and salts together, and dampen the coat with warm water, then apply scrub. Should kill fleas on contact.

Flea Shampoo

1/2 Cup Distilled Vinegar

1 Cup Dawn dish detergent

6 drops of Essential Oils (I'm using Coconut Oil)

Mix ingredients together and apply on a dry coat, massage shampoo in well, rinse, and repeat if you so choose. The slight vinegar smell should repel the fleas, and the Dawn should kill them on contact.

Please let me know how well it has worked for you :)

Best Wishes!
